Courtice North at Trulls/Pebblestone (was Trulls Road Woods)
Natural vegetation moderates climate, maintains hydrologic cycles, provide a home for other species, supplies oxygen, absorbs carbon dioxide and has a special aesthetic and psychological appeals. Cleared landscape increases the run-off and land erosion, and streams receiving this water run-off exaggerate the flood regime. Effects are even more devastating when combined with houses, roads, parking lots, etc., which also make the land impermeable.
